  • Traffic on Coshocton Avenue was reduced to one lane in the Hilltop Drive area Wednesday afternoon as representatives from American Electric Power were beginning the process of installing new poles and moving the power lines. The new poles carry telephone and cable service as well. The placement of new poles should take about one week to complete, said Mount Vernon Safety-Service Director Dave Glass. The project to widen Coshocton Avenue is now in the bidding process with bidding to close in late March. Glass expects the widening construction project to start sometime in May. style=
