A car and motorcycle collided at the intersection of Harcourt Road and New Delaware Road about 12:10 p.m. Tuesday, resulting in the operator of the motorcycle, Joshua Beltz, 20, of Gambier, being taken by MedFlight to Ohio State University Medical Center. According to the Ohio Highway Patrol, the crash occurred when the car driven by Charles Davis, 75, of Mount Vernon, turned left onto New Delaware Road, colliding with the motorcycle. Davis was cited for failure to yield when turning left. Neither Davis nor a passenger in the car, Yolanda Davis, 72, of Mount Vernon, were injured. Beltz was listed in fair condition this morning. If either parent is under the age of 18, the signature of a parent or guardian is necessary for each of the baby’s underage parents.
