MOUNT VERNON — The Knox County Sheriff’s Office is investigating burglaries of an Amish business and residences on Sunday in the areas of Grange and Cooke roads, southwest of Batemantown in Middlebury Township, Capt. Dave Shaffer reported.

Two men were observed taking property from a location on Grange Road. According to a witness they had a blue Dodge truck, no cap, and had stock looking tires. A license plate given, but this has not been confirmed. One of the two suspects was wearing a camo jacket. Both had short hair and one of the suspects had a goatee. Anyone with information is asked to call the Knox County Sheriff’s Office at 740-397-3333.
