MOUNT VERNON — The yearly community Easter egg hunt hosted by Whispering Hill Care Center will be Saturday at 10 a.m. Children up to and including age 10 are welcome to participate. Bring a basket to hold the eggs. The center is at 416 Wooster Road, Mount Vernon.

MOUNT VERNON — The annual Mount Vernon Recreation Department Easter Egg Hunt will be Saturday, April 7, at Memorial Park. The hunt will be for children ages 0-13, and will begin at 10 a.m. The age brackets will be: 0-2, 3-4, 5-8 and 9-13.

Many local businesses have donated prizes for the event. Prize eggs will be numbered and randomly scattered throughout the park. Bring a basket to carry the egg, and come join the fun.

For more information call the recreation department at 397-0979. The hunt will be held regardless of the weather.
