MOUNT VERNON — No apparent injuries were incurred this morning in a multiple fender bender incident in the Mount Vernon High School football stadium parking lot.

Superintendent Steve Short said three to four vehicles were involved in the episode as students were trying to get their cars parked before school started. He said staff members made sure students were safe, called police and notified parents.

Officers were in the area taking statements, said Short, and will make a determination as to what caused the accident.
