HOWARD — A Howard woman is in stable condition at The Ohio State University Medical Center following a one-vehicle accident Thursday afternoon.
Ohio State Highway Patrol reported that Paula Willey, 39, was transported to Knox Community Hospital at 7:42 p.m. by the Eastern Knox County Joint Fire District. Willey was driving a 1999 GMC Jimmy westbound on U.S. 36 when she drove off the right side of the road, striking a culvert and overturning several times before she was ejected from the vehicle. Restraints were reportedly not in use.
Willey was then taken to OSU by LifeFlight where she was reported to be alert and stable. The crash is under investigation.
