MOUNT VERNON -- The fire that caused an evacuation of 12 patients at Knox Community Hospital, Tuesday afternoon, was caused by an electrical short in an industrial floor scrubber.
CENTERBURG -- Meeting in special session Tuesday, the Centerburg Board of Education hired Ryan Gallwitz as high school/middle school principal, effective Aug. 1.
