MOUNT VERNON — Steve Jefferson, instructor of the engineering drafting program at the Knox County Career Center, has retired from the program. On Thursday, Jefferson submitted a letter to the administration which stated, “Consider this letter as notification of my retirement from the Knox County Career Center as of June 28, 2012.

“Please forward to me all necessary documentation and information pertinent to the retirement process.”
