Musical director Bruce Jacklin told the News that an American Electric Power crew inspected the damaged wires this morning which caused the power outage at the theater on Thursday.

“It was just some outdated wire that needed replaced,” said Jacklin. Wire damage was reportedly confined to the outside of the building.

Jacklin said that lighting and sound equipment were all tested after the electricity was restored around 11 a.m. on Firday, and that all appeared to be operating efficiently.
