The Energy Cooperative experienced two outages Friday due to intermittent AEP Transmission service. These outages effected the Brandon and Martinsburg substations early Friday morning from 6 to 7 a.m. and the Johnstown and Northridge substations from 4 to 5 p.m.

It was necessary for AEP to de-energize their transmission lines to allow a portion of the grid to be repaired safely.

Members of The Energy Cooperative should expect to see these intermittent outages throughout the remainder of AEP’s restoration.
