COSHOCTON COUNTY — Three Knox County residents were injuried in two separate motorcycle accidents on Sunday in Coshocton County.
A Mount Vernon couple were injured in a motorycle crash on Ohio 541, just east of the Knox County line. James Stambaugh and Kelly Stambaugh were thrown off the motorcycle when James swerved to miss a deer.
The Coshocton County Sherrif’s office said the 2009 Harley Davidson motorcycle left the right side of the road. Stambaugh was flown from the scene by a MedFlight helicopter and Kelly Stambaugh was brought to Knox Community Hospital by the Bladensburg emergency squad.
She was treated and released. James Staumbaugh is in intensive care in critical condition at Ohio State Univesity’s Lexner Medical Center.
A Fredericktown motorcycle rider escaped with minor injuries in a crash Sunday at 2:23 p.m.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol post at Zanesville said Charles Stringfellow, 70, rode his motorcycle off the right side of the road and overturned. He suffered minor injuries.

COLUMBUS — Charles Stringfellow, 70, Lower Fredericktown Road, is in fair condition at Grant Medical Center after a motorcycle crash Sunday afternoon on Ohio 541 in Coshocton County. He was flown by MedFlight helicopter from the scene.
Incorrect information was provided by the Ohio Highway Patrol regarding the extent of Stringfellow’s injuries.
James Stambaugh, Mount Vernon, injured in a motorcycle crash Sunday on Ohio 541 in Coshocton County on Sunday, is also listed in fair condition today. He was flown from the scene by MedFlight helicopter to Ohio State University Hospital.

COLUMBUS — James Stambaugh, Mount Vernon, was released from Grant Medical Center after recovering from injuries suffered in a motocycle crash on Ohio 541 in Coshocton County on July 22. He was flown by MedFlight helicopter to the hospital where he was in critical condition after arrival.
Charles Stringfellow, 70, Lower Fredericktown-Amity Road, was also injured in a separate motocycle crash on 541, the same day, and was taken to Ohio State University Medical Center, also by MedFlight. His condition was not listed today.
