MOUNT VERNON — The Children’s Connection has once again partnered with Staples and DoSome-thing.com to collect school supplies for Knox County youth.
Last year, The Children’s Connection was able to distribute school supplies to 25 families and five elementary schools throughout the year. Items needed are filler paper, glue sticks, school glue, pens, pencils, pencil erasers, block erasers, three-ring notebooks, pocket folders, rulers, one-subject notebooks, scissors, hand sanitizers, tissues, backpacks, crayons, markers and colored pencils.
Items can be dropped off at Staples or The Children’s Connection staff can pick up donationed supplies until mid-September.
