MOUNT VERNON — Work continues on the south side of Coshocton Avenue. City Engineer Cameron Keaton said the storm sewer installation should be finished by the end of next week and the contractor will be able to start on the curb, gutters and sidewalk.
He said they will also be installing new traffic signal poles Monday and Tuesday.
Keaton also reported that the demolition of two houses at the intersection of South Sandusky Street and West High Street will start Tuesday. Sandusky Street is expected to be closed between High and Vine streets for three or four days.
“The street should close Tuesday morning and we’ll try to reopen by the weekend,” Keaton said.
