MOUNT VERNON — A downed power pole across Sandusky Street from a one-car accident blocked traffic for more than one and one-half hours late Friday evening. Christina K. Parsons, 31, Fredericktown, was northbound on Ohio 13 when at 10:52 p.m. she lost control of her vehicle, going off the right side of the road and striking an American Electric Power utility pole, coming to rest in the yard of 624 N. Sandusky St. The utility pole snapped, falling into the roadway of Sandusky Street.
