MOUNT VERNON — St. Vincent de Paul School is celebrating Catholic Schools Week with a variety of activities.
The celebration kicked off Friday, Sept. 21 with an evening Sock Hop and the St. Vincent de Paul Liturgy on Sunday. Tuesday was “Bring a Friend to Breakfast” and “Mismatch” Day. On Wednesday, the students dressed as their favorite storybook character and shared books and games with the school family. Today, St. Vincent de Paul Feast Day features a school mass in the morning and a procession to the Public Square with donations to Interchurch Social Services food pantry. Friday will be St. Vincent Spirit Day and students will be treated to a cookout for lunch.
