GAMBIER — The Maintenance Management Advisory Panel (MMAP) will hold a public forum today from 5 to 8 p.m., at Higley Auditorium (202 North College Road, Gambier). As all panel meetings up to this point have been private, it will be the first opportunity for the entire community to ask questions and provide input about the possibility of outsourcing campus workers.
Kenyon’s administration announced plans this June to outsource the management of maintenance to Sodexo. In response to the overwhelming community backlash, the administration created the MMAP. The purpose of the panel is to study Kenyon’s long-term maintenance needs and make recommendations to the administration by a November deadline.
