MOUNT VERNON — The Rural Society Fall Antique and Garden Show is bringing together antique vendors, creative personalities, gourds and pumpkins, and folks who love it all to the Warwick Farm this weekend.

The sale will be held Friday, Oct. 5 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday, Oct. 6 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The farm is located at 16620 Wells Road, Mount Vernon.

Earlier this spring Country Living magazine featured the home of Greg and Page Price of Mount Vernon and noted that they make room for “eccentric elements” including animals and collectibles. Their farm provides the setting for Page’s fourth sale event, and this is the second year for the Rural Society sales held in May and October.

Price and a number of antiquing friends, including children’s book author and illustrator Rusty Fletcher, Sherry Davis, and Pat Warthen, invite antique vendors to join them in a barn sale event. It now takes up quite a bit more space than just the barn.
