A ribbon-cutting ceremony took place Thursday afternoon to officially open the new warehouse facility for HopeNow at 1025 S. Formerly used as a warehouse by Connell’s Furniture and currently owned by the Ariel Corp., HopeNow will have use of the facility rent free, only having to pay for electricity. Grants have also been provided by The Community Foundation of Mount Vernon and Knox County to provide use of a hauling truck, forklift, and shelving and other needs at the warehouse.
