Update 6:09 p.m.: Due to local preparation and response efforts, the Vice President’s events tomorrow, October 30, in Wooster and Gambier, Ohio, and the event in Scranton, Pennsylvania on Thursday, November 1, are cancelled. This change in schedule is being taken out of an abundance of caution to ensure that all local law enforcement and emergency management resources can stay focused on ensuring the safety of people who might be impacted by the storm.
GAMBIER — Vice President Joe Biden will speak in a grassroots events at Kenyon College on Tuesday morning.
Tickets were distributed Saturday. If availability continues, tickets will be distributed today on a first-come first-serve basis starting at 10 a.m. at the Kenyon Athletic Center, 221 Duff St., or the Obama for America office at 5 W. Ohio Ave., Mount Vernon.
Tickets are free and are required for entry to hear the vice president on Tuesday at the KAC at 12:30 p.m. Doors open at 10:15 a.m. for the public. Parking is available on campus at the student parking lot located outside the KAC.
Biden will also speak in Wooster on Tuesday at 2:50 p.m. at Timken Gymnasium at The College of Wooster, 1267 Beall Ave., Wooster.
Tickets, if available, will be distributed today beginning at 10 a.m., at The College of Wooster Lowery Student Center, 1189 Beall Ave. and the OFA office at 135 N. Bever St., Wooster.
