UPDATE: A missing Mount Vernon man was located Wednesday afternoon. According to Capt. Dave Shaffer, Knox County Sheriff’s Office, David Pacetti, 57, Mount Vernon, was reported missing after visiting family in the Akron area.


MOUNT VERNON — The Knox County Sheriff has reported a Mount Vernon man with mental health issues is missing.

David Pacetti, 57, was last seen while visiting family members in the Akron area. He is 6-foot 2-inches tall, weighs 300 pounds and has brown hair and blue eyes.

According to Capt. David Shaffer, Pacetti also goes by the name of Ken Moore. He was last observed driving a 2008 Mercury Marquis with a license plate EKA8698.

Anyone that has information regarding the whereabouts of Pacetti is asked to contact the Knox County Sheriff’s Office at 740-397-3333.
