COLUMBUS — On Saturday, First Lady Michelle Obama will travel to Ohio, where she will speak to grassroots supporters at Miami University and Kenyon College.

With early voting underway in Ohio, the First Lady will speak about what’s at stake in this election for Ohioans and ask them to help organize their communities and get out the vote between now and Election Day.

 The First Lady’s events are free and open to the public. Tickets are required due to limited space, and will be available to the public starting on a first-come, first-served basis at the pick-up locations below.

Public access to the Kenyon College Athletic Center starts at 4 p.m. Obama will speak sometime after 6 p.m.

Tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis at the following locations starting today from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and will continue if tickets are still available on Friday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., at the following locations: Kenyon College Bookstore, 106 Gaskin Ave., Gambier; and Organizing for America Mount Vernon, 5 W. Ohio Ave., Mount Vernon.

 Tickets for the Vice President’s Tuesday events at Kenyon College and College of Wooster that were canceled due to Hurricane Sandy will be honored at the First Lady’s event at Kenyon College.
