Transportation Manager Joe Brandt said a headwall collapsed and an erosion problem developed across the road from the Apple Valley Store.

The road will close Wednesday morning and should reopen about 3 p.m. Thursday, Brandt said.

The official detour will be Ohio 308 to Ohio 229 to U.S. 62 to U.S. 36.
