FREDERICKTOWN — Bonny Buffington of the Knox County Educational Service Center, was the featured speaker Thursday at the Fredericktown school board meeting. Buffington talked with the board about the new requirements for teacher and principal evaluations.
The rest of the meeting, Treasurer Pat Miller told the News on Friday, was largely routine.
Regarding personnel, the board accepted the resignations of study hall monitor Jordan Cramer, retroactively effective Nov. 2, and of bus driver Ellen Cooper, effective Nov. 26. It employed Carol Kochheiser as a kindergarten educational aide, retroactively effective Nov. 1, and Heidi Ehret as a middle school/high school aide, effective Nov. 19. LeAnne Tindall and James Nussbaum were hired as 21st century site coordinators for the high school and middle school, respectively, with salaries to be paid entirely out of grant money. Phyllis Burdette was approved to work in the treasurer’s office as needed; and Tracy Bennett, Ronald Endsley and Ricky Shock were added to the classified substitute list.
