UTICA — Monday’s meeting of the North Fork Local Schools Board of Education was largely routine, Treasurer Jack McDonald told the News on Tuesday.
The board approved typical fiscal actions and made changes to the policy manual in order to comply with changes in state and federal regulations.
Regarding personnel, the board accepted a letter of resignation from cashier Candace Bryant, retroactively effective Nov. 2, and subsequently added her to the classified substitute list. Loretta Reynolds was employed as a bus driver, and Paul Italiano, Lori Terry and Sandra Turco were added to the classified substitute list. Several extra service/supplemental contacts were approved and a number of individuals added to the list of volunteers.
Prior to adjournment, the board went into executive session to discuss personnel.
No further action was taken. The next regular meeting of the North Fork school board will be Dec. 17 at 7 p.m. in Utica Elementary School.
