MOUNT VERNON -- A light rain didn't stop shoppers from catching Black Friday fever this morning in Mount Vernon.
UTICA -- Three new officers have been added to the staff at the Utica Police Department, as announced recently by police chief Cliff Bigler.
It was exhausting, but it was rewarding and Red Cross volunteers from Knox County who headed for New York City in the wake of Superstorm Sandy, would do it again.

MOUNT VERNON -- The Food for the Hungry Drive received the support of 188 participants and eight volunteers on Thursday morning at the second annual Mount Vernon Running Buddies Turkey Trot 5K, which was held on the campus of Mount Vernon Nazarene University.
