DANVILLE — The Danville school board on Monday extended formal commendations to participants in fall school sports and co-curricular activities. It recognized participants in golf, volleyball, play, debate and Distinguished Young Women, and passed a resolution recognizing the varsity football team and its coaches for being the 2012 Mid-Buckeye Conference champions.
The board also discussed the district’s safety plan, which was revised and subsequently approved by the attorney general in August.
The rest of the meeting, Superintendent Dan Harper told the News on Tuesday, was largely routine.
