MOUNT VERNON — United Way of Knox County is accepting applications from 501(c)(3) agencies for 2014 investments in programming that addresses education, income and health needs in Knox County. Prospective member agencies are eligible to apply for funds if they have been in existence for at least one year and provide programs that serve Knox County residents.

No strictly religious organization serving a limited group of people is eligible to be a partner agency.

Any group or organization interested in applying for program funding may pick up an investment application packet at the United Way office, located at 110 E. High St. in Mount Vernon. A complete application packet can also be downloaded at uwayknox.org. Completed applications must be submitted to United Way by 4 p.m. on March 15.
