MOUNT VERNON — Progress on the construction of the new wastewater treatment plant in Howard was the report from county water/wastewater superintendent Ray Withers when he met with the Knox County Board of Commissioners on Thursday morning.
“It’s coming along really well,” said Withers as he shared recent photos of the work being performed at the plant. Startup for the plant is expected to be March 15 with final completion to be around July 1. Electric service is in the process of going in this week.
