  • Fredericktown Community Fire District Capt. Shane Smith empties burning embers from a fireplace after a chimney fire Tuesday morning. Chief Scott Mast said the home is owned by Leland Hostetler, Old Mansfield Road, just south of Armentrout Road. The fire call came when flames were shooting out the chimney caused by creosote that caught fire. There was no damage to the house. style=
