MOUNT VERNON -- The Knox County Humane Society's Cat Shelter's Sponsor a Spay campaign is under way and Fredericktown Chevrolet kicked it off with the donation of enough money to subsidize 50 cat spay and neuter surgeries. Other local businesses and individuals have stepped up to the plate as well.
GAMBIER -- Through the Middle Path Partnership, maintenance workers, skilled trades/craftsmen, custodial staff and grounds workers at Kenyon College have teamed with maintenance managers and supervisors to create a business plan designed to save money and improve operational efficiency.
MOUNT VERNON -- A minor sacrifice is making a big difference in Knox County, all because of the generosity of one local business.
MOUNT VERNON -- Knox County and Mount Vernon have each been awarded a $500,000 Community Housing Improvement Program to help low- to moderate-income homeowners make improvements to their homes.
MOUNT VERNON -- The Olentangy Orange Pioneers (14-2, 11-0 OCC) left the city of Mount Vernon just the way they arrived -- undefeated in Ohio Capital Conference.

Report of babies born at hospitals other than Knox Community Hospital must be submitted in writing. Include parents’ names, address, age, baby’s sex, and date and place of birth. If either parent is under the age of 18, the signature of a parent or guardian is necessary for each of the baby’s underage parents.
