  • A Mount Vernon driver was charged with failure to yield from a stop sign after a collision with a Mount Vernon Police cruiser Tuesday afternoon. The Ohio State Highway Patrol, who investigated the crash, said Judy Page, 58, pulled from Park Street onto East High Street and ran into the right side of the cruiser driven by Patrolman Brian Durbin. The cruiser was pushed into a Mount Vernon Water/Wastewater truck driven by Robert Stribling. There was minor damage to the truck and no one was injured. style=
