Knox Community Hospital announces the addition of three new physicians to its medical staff. Trent Timmons, DO, recently became the medical director of the Emergency Department. Dr. Timmons is residency trained and board-certified in Emergency Medicine. He received his medical degree from Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Athens. Dr. Timmons served in the Ohio Army National Guard as a Brigade Surgeon and Emergency Physician in Baghdad, Iraq.
David de Lorenzo, DO, is a new KCH hospitalist. Most recently, Dr. de Lorenzo was on the staff of Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga, Tenn. He served an Internship/Residency in Internal Medicine at Johns Hopkins University/Sinai Hospital, and is board-certified in Internal Medicine. He joins Dr. Thom McKinley and Dr. Laura Murnane as full-time hospitalists on the Knox Community Hospital staff.
Crawford Barnett, MD, is new to the Center for Pain Management at KCH. He is fellowship trained in pain management at the Mayo School of Graduate Medical Education in Rochester, Minn. He is board-certified in Pain Management and joins Dr. Ripal Parikh at the pain center.
