MOUNT VERNON — Mount Vernon Municipal Planning Commission voted unanimously Wednesday to recommend rezoning of property at the corner of Ohio 13 and Upper Fredericktown Road.
Isaac White of AABIC Roofing & Exteriors Inc., currently located on Tilden Avenue, plans to purchase property owned by First-Knox National Bank.
Wendi Fowler of First-Knox presented the application for rezoning three parcels from residential to a general business district. The business hopes to develop the site for its business as a warehouse facility with some sheet metal fabrication.
Bob and Ruth Stricklin’s home is next to the property and they expressed concern.
Bob Stricklin told the commission that he has lived in his home for 40 years.
