FREDERICKTOWN — Second reading of the annual appropriation ordinance was the only official action of the Fredericktown Village Council, Monday, other than paying bills, but they touched on several other subjects.
Judy Divelbiss, Fredericktown Community Development Foundation, invited council to attend the organization’s meeting March 14. Carrie Crouch, Mount Vernon Heritage Centre Association manager, and Steve Waers, executive officer of the Knox County Area Development Foundation, will be talking about why downtowns are important and how to get businesses involved in revitalization efforts.
She said they at least want to bring merchants and owners together and try to accomplish something.
