GAMBIER — This time, the students planned the program.

Members of one of the Destination: Imagination teams at Wiggin Street Elementary School in Gambier planned and arranged the program on “Adopt, Don’t Buy” presented Wednesday afternoon.

As part of the Destination: Imagination program (formerly Odyssey of the Mind), the students have to come up with a community service project and make a video about how they completed the project. Students do all the work; adults can only introduce them to the technology and techniques they need.

“It teaches problem-solving and how to work as a team,” Parent/Mentor John Chun explained.
