MARTINSBURG — A tractor trailer driver and Amish buggy driver were both at fault after a Wednesday morning accident, according the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
The patrol said Douglas Westover, 23, Big Rapids, Mich. and the Amish buggy driver, Henry Miller, 28, Utica, were northbound on U.S. 62. The patrol said Westover was making an improper pass on a curve as Miller started a left turn across U.S. 62 onto Grove Church Road. The horse and buggy were struck by the rear of the tractor trailer. The horse was not injured.
The incident is still under investigation, but neither driver has been cited at this point.
