Carol Sue Owens, 2012 Republican of the Year, announced the Republican of the Year award saying, “This year’s recipient has been a tireless worker organizing party headquarters, planning events, managing headquarters and recruiting volunteers.”

Holley was surprised with the award. “I was just a foot soldier,” she stated, “I was in the trenches. Thank you. I couldn’t have done it without my husband and the wonderful volunteers.”
