MOUNT VERNON — The Knox County Educational Service Center on Wednesday gratefully accepted several donations that will help send students to the Ohio Summer Honors Institute. $100 donors included Mr. and Mrs. Ian Watson, Dr. and Mrs. David Pressler, Dr. and Mrs. Larry Reed and Dr. Robert Atwell. Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Mullendore gave $50. The ESC also received a $1,320 art grant from the Community Foundation of Mount Vernon and Knox County.

The ESC received a clean audit report and the rest of the meeting was largely routine, Treasurer Heather Darnold told the News on Friday.
