FREDERICKTOWN — Fredericktown Village Council voted unanimously Monday night in favor of the 9-1-1 reorganization which includes consolidating the two dispatch centers into one, located at the Knox County Service Center.

The vote came after no additional discussion, the council having discussed it at the March 4 meeting.

Fredericktown EMS Chief Rick Lanuzza was at the meeting, prepared to answer any additional questions from the council. He was a bit surprised they had no further questions for him. He had, however, discussed the proposal in some detail at the earlier meeting.
