  • The MVHS In The Know academic quiz bowl team of junior Jacob Miller, left, sophomore Toby Baumann, freshman Tim Mahan and senior Duncan Shremshock won the Licking County Quiz Bowl League Divison for the third year in a row.  Daniel Wood, not pictured, is also a member of the team. Undefeated Licking Heights was the only team to beat MVHS in the regular league season, and MVHS beat Licking Heights on May 20 at COTC in Newark in the League Championship match, 39 to 36.  The MVHS In The Know team now advances to the Ohio Academic Competition regional tournament, but will next appear in exhibition matches at the Public Library of Mount Vernon and Knox County on April 17 at 6 p.m. style=
