MOUNT VERNON — County Risk Sharing Authority Marketing Manager Ginny Shrimplin gave the Knox County Commissioners a report Monday on the 2013-14 insurance program costs, including refunds totaling $27,445.

Total program costs for the period were $29,511, but Knox County will receive $21,616 as its share of a remission to the 65 member counties, and $5,829 credit for participation in the Loss Control Incentive Program.

As a result of the reductions, the county’s cost for the coming year will be $264,066, due by May 1.
