HOWARD — A proposal to perform a property trade was brought to the Knox County Board of Commissioners on Monday morning by Roger and Dorothy Mize of Howard. This trade, they claim, would benefit the Knox County Park District in allowing additional parking space near the Kokosing Gap Trail in Howard and provide a better suitable property layout between the two parties.
“I think it would be to the advantage of the Parks District to have this spur of land,” said Roger Mize as he passed out maps drawn up of the current property layout and that of the proposed exchange.
