  • Jeff Boucher, second from left, was in an expansive mood Tuesday night when he hosted the Mount Vernon-Knox County Chamber of Commerce’s monthly Business After Hours at Parkside Restaurant & Tavern. Boucher spoke with those attending regarding the addition of a banquet room at the rear of the tavern area. Parkside is managed by Boucher’s son-in-law, Steve McCurdy. Boucher, who also owns Flappers Bar & Grill, used the event to announce his purchase of the former Picnic Pub at the entrance to Apple Valley. No details have been released regarding the new acquisition. style=
