Educator Curtis Clough sees the last 24 years as a launching pad to an ideal job. The 46-year-old Ashland County native is one of two applicants still under consideration for Superintendent of Mount Vernon Local Schools, and he doesn’t mask his enthusiasm.

Editor’s Note: The superintendent search for the Mount Vernon City School District is down to two candidates. The board interviewed Curtis Clough for the second time on Tuesday. The Mount Vernon Board of Education is expected to conduct a second interview William Seder Jr. tonight.
