“We have only made it to a state regional tournament three times in the past 14 years,” he said, “and I think this is the best we have done.”

The MVHS In The Know team of Walker Griggs, Duncan Shremshock, John Francis Kolberg, Toby Baumann and Tim Mahan defeated Seneca East, 46 to 19; Warren G. Harding, 44 to 37; and Ada High Schools, 33 to 27, at the state regional academic tournament in Tiffin on April 20.

Fetters invited everyone to watch the MVHS In the Know team play Crestview on WMFD TV’s Scholastic Showdown on Wednesday, May 1, or Sunday, May 5, at 8 p.m. on Channel 12 (Dish), Channel 68 (DirecTV), Channel 15 (TimeWarner SD) or Channel 1015 (TimeWarner HD) or at www.wmfd.com.
