FREDERICKTOWN — The search for a new superintendent of the Fredericktown school district is under way and moving apace.

The school board has engaged the firm Finding Leaders as its search consultant. The firm’s president, Paul Pendleton, told the News the search process is on an “open timeline.”

“We’re not putting an exact date on the close of applications,” he said, “because we need to move quickly in order to have a person in place in the proper time.” He predicts the process will be certainly completed before the end of June and quite possibly sooner.
