MOUNT VERNON — With the implementation of the Affordable Health Care Act fast approaching, employers are wondering what it will mean to them. Will they have to make big changes? Will costs rise?
Accordingly, the Knox County Chamber of Commerce, the Knox County Health Department and Knox County United Way combined to bring Barry D. Peel, Economic Development Specialist for the U.S. Small Business Administration Columbus office, to present “Affordable Care 101.” This is an introduction to the basics of the act and what it will mean to employers, at least as things stand now.
