MOUNT VERNON — A Mount Vernon man who has been wanted on an outstanding arrest warrant for aggravated menacing has turned himself in.

According to Capt. George Hartz, Mount Vernon Police Department, Joshua Shannon, 31, turned himself in at the Knox County Sheriff’s Office on Wednesday.

It is alleged that Shannon drew a gun on a property owner on East Ohio Avenue on April 30.

An arraignment is scheduled for Friday; he remains in the Knox County Jail.

Shannon faces a criminal jury trial on Tuesday for one count of illegal manufacture of drugs and one count of illegal assembly or possession of chemicals for the manufacture of drugs, following a January indictment.
