MOUNT VERNON — The 2013 Knox County Career Center Student of the Year, who will receive a $500 Scholarship from the Knox County Career Center Staff Association, is Moriah Cormier, Health Technologies, Mount Vernon High School. She was named Student of the Year during the awards and scholarship program held in R.R. Hodges Auditorium Thursday evening.

Before career passports were distributed to all graduating career center students, many other students received special recognition for their accomplishments.
