MOUNT VERNON — Twenty-eight students at the Mount Vernon Academy were presented their diplomas Sunday morning after three days of celebration which included several events: Consecration, Baccalaureate and Vespers and concluded with Sunday’s Commencement.

Chelsea Burrows, affectionately known as “Dean Chelsea” to her students addressed the class of 2013 and used the life of Joseph to demonstrate the value of holding Jesus Christ as a grounding source in life.

“Joseph had big dreams,” Burrows said. “But bigger than dreams, he was a bigger believer in Jesus. Dream big but believe bigger.”
